Hair Issues?

well, when my hair was short and relaxed, my stylist put soft waves in my hair. Do you know how to fingerwave?

You fingerwave the hair with a soft mouse, not a gel. (something like motions, elatsa qp or paul mitchell foaming pomade)...any mousse that will not make your hair hard. When it is dry, put some oil or some kind of heat protectant spray in it. Starting at the bottom, use a rattail comb to lift the waves, and curl you hair in the direction of the wave. After doing your whole head, fingercomb your new waves. Small fingerwaves and a small curling iron make smaller waves. Big fingerwaves and a big curling iron make bigger waves.

If you don't know how to fingerwave, you can pincurl your hair. Wash, wrap and dry hair as usual, Comb out you wrap, then pincurl it.

There is also a tool sold at beauty supply stores that makes waves. It looks kinda like a crimping iron.

hope this helps...good luck...
