Crimping hair?

I am 13 with African American textured hair and i wanted to crimp it. I dont really feel like getting out the crimping iron so how else could i do it.

i am white and i dont know this works on black people but i did this last night i get my mom to braid 4 fat french braids on my head then then slept in it and took them out the next morning and it looked perfect!

If you want it crimped but don't want to get out the crimping iron.....ok. well that's lazy. you can braid it but won't look anywhere as goo as w/ a crimping iron.
