How to care for hair?

So I cut my hair really low, because I had so much dandruff and I wanted to treat it . And because my hair was also breaking, so I wanted to start growing it all over again

Question is now that the hair is really short and I wanna start growing it healthy, what should I do and what shouldn't I do.

Cos I really want a healthy hair.

Get rid of the dandruff first. Use a good dandruff shampoo like selsun blue or neutrogena t gel. Dandruff shampoo can be quite drying,alternate with a good mositurizing shampoo and conditionor.

Once a week give a hot oil treatment. Once a mth do a hair mask for deep conditioning.

Take hair vitamins,include milk and cheese into ur daily diet.Drink lots of water.

What you want to do is use moisturizing hair products that are made specifically for black hair, and avoid tight hair styles that pull out the hair and cause traction alopecia.
