I have african american dry hair and im really looking to improve movement and texture without a relaxer. I heard the hot oil treatments are good but I dont know exactly what they are, can someone tell me the deatails about it please, should i get a proffessional one or should i do it myself, will it improve my hair movement, and can you give me any other deatail i should know about hot oil treatments. They are just little tubes of oil that you put in hot water to heat it up, put it on your wet hair, let it set for like 2 minutes, then rinse it out. It's not that expensive either, a few dollars. I feel like it helped my hair a little, not a miraculous job or anything, but it did help. I don't know if the professional oil treatments are any better, never tried them.
