Really hair products doesn't make your hair grow it just really aids in the health and look of it. The best way to make your hair grow is what you need to do inside instead of out. Protein is really good for our body and eating meats, eggs, bananas, peanuts, fish, taking biotin vitamins,...anything basically with protein helps to stimulate the growth of your hair. Eating lots of fruits and vegtables, drinking lots of water, and massaging your scalp with your fingertips helps to stimulate the hair follicles which leads to hair growth. Washing and conditioning your scalp on a daily basis with a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner such as Cream of Nature helps your hair stay moisturized and healthy. Putting Protein treatments also in your hair once a month helps in keep the hair strong and helps defend your hair against breackage before you do coloring or any chemical treatment. And hot oil treatments twice a month or once a month helps your hair retain moisture. Doing these simple things will help your hair more than you know.

my hair is natural (no press combing or chemical relaxer).

Because of my hair texture, instead of washing my hair with shampoo, I use a moisturizing conditioner to shampoo my hair. Also keep your hair trimmed every 6 weeks.

I love the Organic Root Stimulator line. I have used their Tea Tree Shampoo, Olive Oil Shampoo, and their Hair Mayonnaise, which I often leave in my hair without washing out. Creme of Nature's Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner also works well. It's important that you keep your hair moisturized, paying particular attention to the hair ends and keep it from becoming dry, or your hair will become fragile and break off. Everyones hair is different, but mine does better when I wash it at least once or twice a week. You will want to limit the use of heat styling as much as you can, especially curling irons, flat irons, and straightening combs. When you do use them, make sure your hair is clean and don't use excessive temperatures. Try roller sets. I have heard good things about steam rollers and ceramic flat irons, though. Also, when combing and detangling your wet hair, make sure to start from the ends and work your way up. Braids and extensions are also a good rest for your hair and if you properly care for your own hair underneath, will promote growth. I have achieved a lot of growth this way - in fact, I started growing out my relaxer last year and all hair is natural now and about shoulder length or close (I have layers).

Hope this helps.

p.s. your hair grows internally nothing you do it on the outside makes it grow, it just does. Try a healthier diet, take vitamins, and drink plenty of water.
